The ZKSNb and ZKSNm cable connectors are designed for operation with medium-voltage cable or cable–overhead networks with either ring or radial configuration. They are used to distribute electrical energy (branching connectors).
Connectors in concrete enclosure of ZKSNb type
The connector design consists of two independent elements, i.e. the main body and the roof. Cable ducts are installed in the foundation so that the station can be connected to the MV network. The main body houses MV, either SF₆-insulated or air-insulated.
The enclosure is cast as a monolith in a single process; therefore, there are no joints between the walls and the floor. The concrete elements are made from C30/C37 concrete. The connectors can be manufactured with fire resistance ratings of REI 30, 60, 90, or 120. The station’s color scheme can be customized in any color and type of plaster available on the market.

ZKSNm cable connectors are designed for operation with medium-voltage cable or cable–overhead networks with either ring or radial configuration. They are used to distribute electrical energy (branching connectors).
Characteristics
The connector design consists of two independent elements, i.e. the foundation and the main body with roof. The foundation has a removable front cover, allowing easy access to the cable compartment and quick installation of MV cables. The main body houses MV, either SF₆-insulated or air-insulated.
The enclosure is made from aluminum, and the walls are filled with sandwich panels. This ensures better thermal operating conditions for the MV switchgear. The concrete elements (foundation) are made from C30/C37 concrete. The connectors can be manufactured with fire resistance ratings of REI 30, 60, 90, or 120. The station’s color scheme can be customized in any sandwich panel color available on the market.
